SETUP / SUBSCRIPTION / CONNECT

Getting Started: Subscriptions and Clients

Prepare your account and subscription in the user panel, then import them into a client and connect. This guide follows the actual setup sequence; skip any steps you've already completed.

Interfaces vary across operating systems and client versions. Options such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” and “Import from link” may have different names, but the process is the same: get a client → add a subscription → update the configuration → choose a route → connect. Follow the current instructions in the user panel and client rather than looking for buttons with the exact names used here.

ACCOUNT

Create an account and save your credentials

Select “Start Free” below to open the user panel, then set a username and password. VPNEJ requires no email address; create your account with a username and password. Check your username for typos before submitting. Use a password you don't use on other sites, and store it in a trusted password manager. This creates your user panel account. Use the same login details to view plans, get your subscription and client, and submit support tickets.

Once you're in the panel, make sure you can open the account overview before choosing a plan. If your browser is already signed in to another account, check which account is active to avoid placing an order under the wrong one. Creating an account does not activate a plan. Your access to route configurations and client downloads may depend on the plan status shown in the panel.

Before setup, have the device you want to connect ready and keep the panel open. On a computer, you can switch between your browser and client. On a mobile device, you'll usually copy the subscription and return to the client to paste it. Don't save your username, password, or subscription link in public notes, or share screenshots of your full account page when asking for help.

Choose a plan and confirm your order

Once your account is ready, open the plans section in the user panel and choose a monthly subscription or data package based on your expected usage. Monthly plans include 60GB for ¥9.9/month, 250GB for ¥18/month, and 500GB for ¥28/month. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Usage varies between browsing text and webpages, streaming video, and transferring large files, so choose based on how you'll use the service—not just the number of devices.

If your usage is irregular, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. The main difference between a data package and a monthly subscription is how the data is used; a data package does not reset monthly. To compare the options, visit the plan pricing page, then return to the panel to confirm your selection.

At checkout, verify the plan name, price, and data allowance, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT as shown in the panel. After payment, return to the panel and confirm that the order status and plan details in the account overview have updated. If the order is still processing, check the existing order rather than submitting another one. When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; review the confirmation details in the panel before proceeding.

This service supports unlimited devices, but make sure your remaining data can cover their usage. VPNEJ offers a 14-day refund policy; see the Terms of Service for details. Once your order is complete and your plan is active, get your subscription link. A payment confirmation page alone doesn't mean client setup is complete.

Get your subscription from the account overview

Open the account overview and check your current plan, remaining data, and active status before looking for the subscription section. The subscription link lets a client retrieve the route configuration for your account. It is not a regular webpage address or a client installer. If the page offers a copy or client import option, use the one that matches your client. Don't mistake the panel URL in your browser's address bar for a subscription link.

To import manually, use the copy option in the panel, switch to your client, and paste the link into the subscription or configuration section. If the panel offers a quick import option for your installed client, follow the prompt to open it. If your browser asks whether to open an app, check the app name first. If the client isn't installed or your system doesn't recognize the import option, get the client in the next step and return to copy the subscription.

Make sure the link is complete before and after pasting. Don't include extra instructions, spaces, or line breaks. This guide doesn't show real subscription URLs; get yours only from your user panel. Your subscription link is an account credential—don't share it in public groups or forums, or submit it to online link-checking tools. To use another device, log in to the panel on that device and get the link there, avoiding unnecessary intermediaries.

If no usable subscription appears in the account overview, check that you're signed into the right account, that your order is complete and your plan is active, and that you have enough data. Don't try to generate a configuration by editing the link. If the page doesn't explain the issue, use a support ticket in the panel to describe your order and the status shown; support can help check it.

Get a client and import your configuration

Once your subscription is ready, open the client page in the user panel, select the VPNEJ client for your device's operating system, and follow the instructions to get it. Downloads require a login, and your plan must meet the panel's requirements. This guide doesn't provide static installer links. Don't download installers with the same name from unknown sources or paste your subscription into an app that isn't recommended in the panel.

The import option is usually under “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or a similar section. After adding your subscription, update it and check that selectable routes appear in the configuration, then select that configuration. Saving the link in a list may not load the configuration; if the list is empty, check the update result first. Here's what to focus on for each platform.

Windows: Add a remote subscription

On the client page in the panel, choose the Windows desktop client and follow the installation instructions. Open the client and go to subscription or configuration management. Choose the option to add from a link, then paste the subscription you copied into the address field. Give it a name you can recognize; put only the subscription link in the address field. Save and update the configuration, then return to the main screen and select it and a route.

If the client requests network permissions, make sure the prompt comes from the app you just installed before following its instructions. Avoid letting multiple proxy apps manage your system settings at the same time, or your browser may continue using another app's route. After importing successfully, keep the default connection settings for now. Test access before changing routing options.

macOS: Check system permissions after importing

Choose the macOS desktop client in the user panel and get the version that matches your device and operating system. Open it, go to configuration management, and add the link using the import-from-URL or subscription option. Save and update. If the panel offers quick import, make sure it opens the client you're using before accepting the prompt. You should then see the new item and selectable routes in the configuration list.

The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration. Follow the prompts in the client and system settings. Seeing the configuration added in a window doesn't mean system traffic has switched; you still need to enable the connection in the client. If you cancel the permission prompt, return to the relevant system settings and resolve it rather than repeatedly deleting the subscription.

Android: Add a subscription and allow the connection

Get the Android client from the panel and install it. Open the configuration or subscription page, choose the option to add by link, paste the full address, and save it. Then update the subscription. When the update finishes, select the configuration, open the route list, and choose a route. If you've switched between several apps while copying, check that the pasted address is the subscription you just got from the panel.

When you start the connection, Android may show a VPN connection request. Check the app name and allow it. If the connection works but drops when you switch apps, check the system's background activity and battery settings for the client, and adjust them based on the options available on your device. Don't change every system setting at once. First check whether the connection stays active, then address any specific issues you notice.

iOS: Get and import the client as instructed in the panel

Check the iOS instructions on the client page in the panel and use the App Store link provided if the stated conditions apply. Follow the availability and download requirements currently shown in the App Store. Once you've installed the iOS client specified in the panel, find the subscription or import-from-URL option in the app. Paste the link, save it, and update. If you use quick import, make sure the correct app opens.

The first time you connect, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Confirm the source, follow the system prompts to authorize it, then return to the client and enable the connection. If no routes appear after importing, check the subscription update result first. Don't use the VPN switch in system settings as an import option. To connect another device, follow the instructions for that device's platform; there's no need to copy all of your system settings.

VPNEJ also supports Linux, with downloads available through the user panel. This guide focuses on getting started with common graphical clients. For more on routes and streaming requirements, read the streaming guide—you don't need to adjust everything before your first connection.

Connect to a route and test access

Return to the client's main screen, check that you've selected the subscription configuration you just updated, then choose a destination region from the route list and connect. For your first session, leave the default rules or routing settings unchanged to avoid changing too many things at once. System proxy, VPN, and tunnel modes may have different names across clients. Follow the current client instructions to decide whether to enable an additional mode; don't copy settings from another platform based on a toggle's name alone.

After connecting, open the website or app you actually need and try a normal task. A connected status in the client only confirms that the connection process started. Whether the target page loads or the app completes a request is what matters for your use case. If you just changed routes, reopen the target page or restart the app to avoid interference from old connections or cached data. Don't switch between multiple regions repeatedly while testing, or it will be hard to tell which setting works.

If the client fails to update the configuration, return to the panel and check your plan and subscription status, then make sure the link is complete. If the configuration updates but you can't access the target service, check that the client is actually connected, system permissions are granted, and no other proxy app is running. When testing another route, change one at a time and retest. Keep track of the steps that reproduce the issue. A route's region doesn't determine your account region, subscription eligibility, or payment requirements on a target platform. Streaming availability depends on the platform's own checks.

If the problem persists, submit a support ticket in the panel with your device's operating system, client name, error message, and whether the issue occurs while updating the subscription, starting the connection, or accessing the target service. Redact your subscription link, account credentials, and sensitive payment information from screenshots. Don't send your full configuration file. For details on streaming region restrictions, errors, and route selection, see the streaming guide.

Setup is complete when your plan is active in the panel, the client can update its configuration, and the website or app you need works on your selected route. Keep using this verified setup, and adjust the configuration only as needed.
